Newsletter Submission Specifications

Each month, our monthly newsletter features the “Provider Spotlight” section. In this section, providers on can submit articles for our members to read. This is a wonderful way to promote your business by reaching union members all across the United States and Canada!

If you would like to submit an article for the Provider Spotlight section, here are the specifications:

Emails should include the following subject heading:

Provider Spotlight Submission

Deadline: Articles submitted on or before the 20th of the month will be considered for inclusion in the following month’s newsletter. For example, an article submitted on or before April 20th will be considered for inclusion in May’s newsletter.

File Format: We can accept submissions in either text format (.txt) or Microsoft Word format (.doc).

Length: Submissions should be 500-600 words (about 15 paragraphs) for 1 page. The maximum length for an article we can accept is 1,000-1,200 words.

Content: The article should be original, written by you or a representative of your organization.

Content should be informational, as opposed to simple advertising. For example, if your organization deals in real estate, your submission could be about alternative methods of home financing, or how to choose a home that best fits your needs.

All articles accepted for submission, when published, will include contact information for your organization.
